A wooden supporting structure
is necessary. Can also be installed over existing roof
covering. Place stringers or rafters at +/- 45 cm centres
distance.
Place the battens at 31,5 cm. Battens are 32/24 mm. The top batten must be
2 to 4 cm from the roof ridge.
TIP!
Always saw tiles and accessories along the bottom.
Lay the tiles from
right to left, starting at the top. Start the next row
with the remaining section of the last tile. Make sure
that the profi les are aligned.
(A) Always insert the screws in the overlap (about
4 per tile).
Lay 2 rows of tiles
on each side of the roof, then the ridge cap. Release
the 2 ends of the ridge for adjusting and placing the
preformed facade pieces.
(A) Now continue laying tiles top to bottom.
Where necessary, install
the guttering fi rst, then the tiles, making sure they
overlap the guttering by 5 cm.
(A) Material: zinc or plastic.
After all tiles have
been laid, fi nish off the gables, walls and edges,
using the separate fi ttings
(A). Flashing left or right.
Order of installation:
(A) guttering
(B) battens
(C) bottom drip plate (plastic foil, zinc or plummet)
(D) tiles, ridge cap and separate fittings
All tiles and fittings must be fastened at the bottom
with screws.
